Default Grille removal?

Does anyone know if the "mesh" grill between the two foglights is removable or molded into the bumper? Hopefully removeable because I want to stick a set (or two) of these behind it....

Or... am I gonna have to take the bumper off to make a mounting bracket

I believe you have to take the bumper off... Also, just my opinion, but I don't think square foglights will look good with the xA...maybe the xB, but not the xA...

well, they'll be behind the grill so who cares if they're square I just want functionality, invisibility is a nice option too.

YES, it is removable - I had to remove to install new grille (new grille is bolt mounted to bumper). There are (if I remember correctly) 5 push snaps on the top line and 5 on the bottom. Male ends on the bumper and female on the grille itself.

Yep, I'll confirm it's removeable, but it's actually easier to get to things from above by removing the upper grill. It seems like the bumper will be an excellent place to mount everything to. I won't be able to drill and tap though because of the clearance between the bumper and the radiator, but i might be able to make a bracket that goes around the small piece of square tubing that our bumper consists of.
