Has anyone else notice that their Scion Xb attracts birds?

O.K, I think I found out why birds love my car.
Almost all species of birds establish a territory at some time and defend it aggressively against rivals, usually birds of their own kind. During the breeding season, songbirds fight the supposed rival they see in their own images reflected from a window or other reflective surface. There have been reports of birds fighting their images in a glass pane about 100 feet from their nest for weeks at a time, but stopping as soon as the glass was moved another 10 feet further away. Bird behavior is fascinating. That's part of what makes bird feeding such a wonderful hobby, because we can draw the birds in closer where it's convenient for us to watch them.

Now this is when it gets complicated, I also found on Autopia.org a way to prevent damage done by bird poop on your car. They recommend that you keep the car waxed. Well if you wax your car correctly, you will have a shiny surface which would then attract the birds again which continues the cycle of washing, waxing, and birds pooping on your car.
Preventing Damage
While it's not really possible to keep birds from bombing your car with their dirty little surprises, you can take steps to limit the damage. The most obvious protection is a car cover (please, not while you're driving!). To limit the damage when you get hit, you need to remove the offending slime as quickly as possible. Don't wait. Get it off of your car.
I've found the best way to clean up after a bird is with a good detailing spray and a cotton terry cloth towel. As I'm a clean car fanatic, anyway, I keep a little detailing kit in the trunk of my car. It holds a spray bottle of quick detailing spray, a couple of towels, and my favorite rubber and vinyl dressing. That's all it takes for me to keep the car looking great. When a bird gets me, I spray the bird droppings with a few shots of detailing spray and wipe it off with the towel, turning the towel as necessary to keep a clean wipe on the car.
Another way to protect your paint from bird damage is to keep your car waxed. While wax offers limited protection against a juicy attack, it makes cleanup much easier. You still need to remove the mess as quickly as possible.

And perch places don't have to be directly over your car. Like parking parallel to a fence, they seem to like to evacuate either as they land or when they first take flight... Not that I'm fully researching it or anything... just the only conclusion I could come up with where I used to park...
The handles are real CF overlays, got them from allscion.com

I didn't have a bird poo on my car until after this thread. Then, the other morning, I went out to the car and FOUR BIG SPLATS running down the windshield...
Dangit!
They're watching us...
Good thing I was going to pick up my plates from the dealer... I talked my sales guy into giving me a free carwash hehe... He actually washed my car himself!!!
