Hauling 10' pipe in xB

Hauling 10' pipe in xB
I went to Lowe's and bought a single 10 foot length of 3/4" electrical conduit and got out in the parking lot, popped the rear hatch and attempted to place it into my xB.
No worky; no matter how I adjusted it on diagonals it just won't fit inside with everything shut up. :?
No problem; I quickly came up with an easy solution for transporting a few 10' lengths of pipe, molding, poles, etc. I just rolled the passenger window down about 2/3rds and placed the pipe into the 'V' formed by the right mirror, the window and the window frame. I put a cloth into the 'V' to avoid any scratching. The other end went back to the corner above the spare tire. Worked great!
Ever since I gave up my Nissan light truck for my xB, I been challenged to come up with ways to haul building materials, appliances, large boxes, etc. The xB hasn't let me down yet. :D RPM
