Glad you are okay. Are you going for the RS 3.0?
Thanks for all of your concern guys! I appreciate it.

Haha yeah I've had my eye on the RS 3.0. Just need to sit down and talk to someone with it.

Are you going to buy another xB? That's assuming the car is totaled....its just a shame, I love the Hot Lava. It truly is reassuring to see the box old up that well. I have only had the car for a week and a half.

theres no doubt its totalled, I saw one at my work, that wasn't even close to that bad, just needed a front clip, radiator, condensor and core support, 3800 miles, and it totalled not much damage and it still hit the $9000 total mark

My BSP got totaled and insurance cost it at around $11000 to repair. Well I cross it out as "totaled" and got the other guy's insurance to replace my xb. After buyng my TCM xB, The insurance that paid my old box sold it o a repair shop and as of this day, that box is running it the streets. I met the guy who bought it for 5 grand and told me he bought at a dealer ship (BS) becuase the plate He's running was my old one. Plus he already puts some MOds on it, one that I notice was a Momo steering wheel. (I guess the air bag is expensive to repair).

just because its totalled doesn't mean it won't be running the streets, where I used to work, we would buy totalled cars, and rebuild them, and sell them for a fraction of the cost of a new car, we bought a couple of brand new saturn Ions with less then 2000 miles, and sold them both fixed, for less then 10k they looked brand new, just had a salvaged title, we even did custom paint on one of them

And another Hot Lava bites the dust.

Glad to see you are ok. I say get the guys insurance to get you a RS4! It was, afterall, a limited edition.

If you plan on parting out, lemme know as have several RS1 owners that are looking for RS1 parts.

Whatever the cause, I'm just glad you and the other gentleman are ok. That's alot of trauma you both went through. Hopefully your doctor will approve you for an MRI and other tests, because you don't want this accident to hurt you physically 10 years from now. Again, glad you're both fine.

Holy Crap!! It's nice to see how well it held up in a head-on. I cant believe the windshield didnt break!!!! My girlfriend is thinking about buying one but she was concerned about whether or not its a safe car. I think this might sway her. BTW how did the BMW hold up?
