first of all, to each his own,but...

why would anyone want to emphasize the horn?! be it stock or any other sound. i hate the horn. not because of the sound, but because it's so touchy. it's the whole damn wheel. i must accidentally hit the horn a few times a week. i'm sure if i sneezed hard enough, i could set it off.

i'd like to find a horn that sounds: "oops, sorry. didn't mean to do that" in a low soft voice

I guess what you'd like then is some stronger horn springs. Hmmmmm....

Yeah, I've hit the horn accidentally a couple of times. On my previous vehicles, I could fill out ATM deposit slips on the center of the steering wheel, but not anymore.

But there are still times I'm glad I have a more authoritative horn. Some dopes need to be awakened from their own private Idahoes.

Huh? What? There's someone in the lane next to me?

Huh? What? The light has changed?

Huh? What? I can't just pull out into traffic without looking?

Huh? What? I don't own the whole damn road?

well, as you say to each their own....

i have never accidentally hit my horn...(i think you have to be a real klutz to do so...)
and with people trying to get more boom in their cars, the factory horn sounds like the 'oops,sorry....' type of horn.
i want a horn like a sonic boom...i want it to blow out windows, women and kids to wet their pants, small towns to be blown off the map!!!

Hey Super .. i was standing at my shop the other day, a nice Pete rolled by, and blew his horn. Dont cha know he had a train horn on the back cat walk! Damn, i havent heard anything that loud in ages. Me thinx you should look into installing a nice 150dB + train horn. If not, then maybe ill have to.

BTW .... in most states; at least here in the North East ... 130dB horn is the loudest allowed by law.

To get that idiot's attention that's merging into your lane while you're still there.

just remember to hook it up to the brakes......lol

the problem with the bigger (train) horns are they require a lot of air... something that rigs have a ready supply of....

You have such an eloquent way with words. I agree with every one of them.
