so i should just consider changing that solenoid in the future like toyota said. Cool then. thnks

Am I reading this right?

Someone is willing to spend 200 bucks to replace a shifter interlock that still works and is a little noisy on a 4 or 5 year old car?

Toyota will love you. But what are you going to do when the new one does the same thing?

It's normal.

If it breaks, pop the little cap, push the button, head off to the dealer, THEN spend the $200.
