I think that is BS, I have played Burned CD's in my car tons of times, (no it was not the burned CD's that skipped.) Wait, do you put those stupid paper lables on the top of them?? if so, yes that will make it eat your CD, but only that one... I think they are just trying to get out of it, this sounds like my old dealership.

thanks SirScion!!!!!!!

its okay now.... 1 hour and 55 minutes later...i got a call back & apparently...

me (still sad sounding): hello?
service person: "You're right 'KIDDO' it is covered! Sorry about that....if u can get the number on the.." bla bla bla
me (still shocked & super calm): okay do i have to pay antyhing?
service person: no, its an exchange...
me (still shocked): and its okay to play burned CD's and it wont void my warrantee?
service person: yes, they'll order it monday and i'll call you when it comes in.

im usually not materialistic at all but darn i didnt realize how much that dumb stock player meant to me.....i think im still in shock......"COMMON SENSE putting burned cd's in it will mess it up..." the longest 1hr 55 minutes of my life...it was worse than waiting for your first ever Ebay shipment to come in and that's deathy long!!

anyway to the good stuff!!! hahaha *sighs* im just glad it'll be okay!!!

*locks thread* <--lol

Toyota / Scion of Lake Norman

dirtysocks---yea you better before it breaks completely & your warantee runs out...better to have it replaced and have it break and another warrantee to go thorugh, then let it break entirely and be S.O.L.

That hasn't happened to me at all. But that's dealer BS when they tell you it's the burned CD itself because i have like 2 or 3 burned CD's in my car and it has not once eaten a CD.
