Default High Idle

ok so here is my problem.....i have a high flucuating idle

it happens when i am on the clutch or sitting in neutral after running 50-70 MPH

the rpm's will drop down to ~500 then go back up to ~1500, and repeat this untill i start moving again

i thought that this hapened because i got some water in the ignition since she got washed with very high pressure all over yesterday, so today i took the entire eletrical system apart and let it sit in the florida sun untill ~2pm

put everything back together and nothing, there is nothing loose anywhere and there SHOULD NOT BE any water anywhere

Any ideas?

i'd take it to the dealership and have them diagnose it. maybe it's just water or a leak in your valves. good luck.
