Default Hissing noise from brakes

I don't know or why i noticed this but I wanted to see if it's normal. I had my door open and pumped my brake petal and noticed this squeaky hissing noise coming from the front brake. I looked all over and there are no signs of fluid and the fluid reservoir is still full. Is this normal or is it a warning sign I should be heading to the dealership?

Hmmm . .. it turns out it's not at the brakes. I think it's the brake booster

if the car isn't running then i'd say normal. the booster uses vacuum to 'boost' the braking effort and you are hearing the vacuum being equalized

If anybody could run out and fire their box up, hang their head out the left window and see if they can hear the hiss too i'd be greatly appreciative.

Thanks!

It may in fact be normal. As I was driving to work today I noticed that it only makes the noise if i pump the brakes. So it may be some sort of pressure relief.

Hmmm...sure it's not cat blood boiling on the rotor face from some recent road-kill experience???

(Oh mannn...that was bad even by my low standards... )
