Default Hot Lava in Northeast Texas - Number 1999 - *Pictures*

As of 3:20 pm CST, my Scion xB Release 1.0 came in!!

It is number 1,999 of 2,100. This day has been long awaited. I will post tons of pictures as soon as I get it. I have to work tonight (for some reaon I couldn't convince my boss I was too sick to call in (maybe it was all the joy in my voice).

Just got in this morning, had to change the post; I my dealer told me the wrong number on the phone, it is actually 1999. Also, I ordered it in early January; I am glad it is in.

Thanks,

Eric.

Default Where is my RS1 ??

Enough is really enough ........ Myself like some others ( CB and Doc come to mind ) have been waiting and waiting and then more waiting for our cars to arrive. I can no longer keep my composure here, I am falling quickly off the deep end. Tell me guys if I am wrong, it seems lately that the RS1's are rolling into ports here and there and folks are basically just walking into their local Scion Dealer and buying them. Am I going nuts or do you see the same thing happening as well ? To me they need to take care of all the folks who have placed some cash on their cars and make sure they get delivered first ! My patience is wearing thin and I am generally a cool, calm and collected individual, but to keep reading about folks getting an RS1 is really killing me !! maybe I need to walk away for a short time from the board and relax, I have no idea ..... I am very happy that folks are getting their cars, it is great to see what mods are being done, these cars are truly worth the wait, but for how long ?

Sorry to vent ~ Just having a stressful morning after reading some posts of more cars arriving ........

Have a great weekend !

Here is what you have to keep in mind ya'll. To get from China/Japan from here is the longest route. It is much faster to get to Cali, then the South West ( Texas ) then Southern States ( Ga, Fla ) then the central East Coast, ( NC, SC, TN ) next it will be our turn. Look at the bright side, if there are any people waiting in the most northern states, ( MN, NH, MA ) they will be last.

Dont get me wrong, it makes me mad as hell that everyone is getting theirs before us, and it makes me even madder that some are just walking in off the street and able to purchase one right there on the spot. It is out of our control, and we just have to play the game by their rules. Look on the bright side though, it wasnt but 3 or 4 weeks ago that it was RUMORED that the deivery here in the North East wasnt going to happen for us till possibly April or later. We should be hearing from our dealers with in the next few days as to when we can expect to recieve our long awaited RS1s.

To those at Scion Corp. This should serve as a lesson in poor planning. Why should those of us who wait months for a limited edition, and those of us who do the most leg work have to wait till the very end to get our just deserts? Hopefully you have learned from your mistakes, and will correct the situation before the next RS2 comes out, and people know the mistakes YOU made with the delivery system for the RS1 and cost you sales and a bad reputation.

Hey guys, it shouldn't be much longer. I ordered mine back in early January; back then the dealer was saying between March and June for delievery. Needless to say, here it is. Your Hot Lavas will be in any day, esecially if you are in A status.

Also, Pictures will be up in a few.

Eric.

I was talking to Eric the other day about status ... here is what i learned...

A ... means that your car is at port and should be leaving in the amount of days listed.

I ... means in route, loaded on a trailer and headed your way.

W ... means your car is either at the dealers lot, or is in dealers wharehousing facility.

If you ask your dealer what your status is, they can tell you that it is 3A for example. Meaning that they expect it to leave port in approx. 3 days and continue to I status. I plan on calling my dealer here in a little while to see exactly what status mine is in.

I'm sorry, but according to the rules of ownership; all owners of the RS 1.0, Hot Lava, must use orange for anything and everything, when applicable.

J/K, actually, I'm sorry about the color. Just excited about orange currently.

Eric.

Just updated ... Thanks ...

I had a good laugh today, I seen on Fox News that someone had hijacked a NJ Limo Place, I thought it might have been you, taking over the dry docks and looking for the best number on the Lavas .....

Hahaha, too funny. Im not the violent type though. I just talked to the dealer, and he said that the RS1 is in port. Im gonna call the inverntory manager tomorrow to find out exactly what the status is. Munch was talking with his dealer, and his dealer told him that their RS1 will be in next week. GENTLEMEN, ITS NOT THAT FAR OFF, WE ARE COMING CLOSER TO THE END OF OUR WAIT.

Default To get to the East

To get a car from japan to the Northweast USA, one travels across the pacific and stops at California (and other west cost ports).

Followiing that, one travels through the Panama Canal to the Southeast (Texas, Flordia, etc).

Emptying the boat in new Jersey port. which, from what I understand, has already happened.

until Scions are built in the USA, this is the way it will be.

It is far cheaper to boat 500 cars on a ship than 5 on a truck across country.

Paul
