Default How many 1st gen xBs out there with mint OEM paint.

Curious if there are any other xBs still sporting 100 % mint original paint? I know many that have gone custom aftermarket paint and also other that have had body work done because of wrecks.
My BCP is completely original and still looks 100 % new. Would like to hear from others and how they maintain there nice paint in todays driving conditions.

I thought you had some repair work done from getting hit with a tire? If I'm wrong I apologize

mine has original paint.
but ive got some rock chips in the hood and front bumper.
the front lip has all kinds of stress cracks in the paint.
the side skerts have nicks from people hitting there shoes when getting in and out.
so i wouldn't call it 100 % mint.

i really doubt anyone has anything that is considered "mint". the flat front gets a lot of rock chips. unless someone drives around with a front end cover than it's possible.

Almost a can of Mothers wax helped for the first 6 months or so then I realized it didn't last a week and had a friend recommend RejeX Polish which I have used for about 2 years now. I have some scratches on the hood that show under certain lighting conditions from someone placing something on it then draggings it off like a trash bag or something probably from the building door I park next to. Other than that I bought a bottle of touch up paint from the dealer after 3 years an used a few dabs to plug chips from rocks on the front end bumper - hood top and sides of windshield supports. Wash it whenever warm enough but have had the water freeze on the paint a few times - helps protect it don't you know. It looks great still - NO door dings AT ALL or chips on the edges from opening them either. The windshield on the other hand looks pretty bad considering how little highway miles I have on it - nothing like getting hit by a pickup truck thrown rock from 300 feet ahead - you know that rock had an agenda to hit the only other vehicle on the road that night.

Other than a few nicks and scrapes here and there, mine's pretty good.

There should be tons of these cars. It's not like the car is old or anything.

It's nice to see other also have the original paint in real nice condition. Other than a few small touched up rockchips my front bumper still looks excellent. I use a Colgan tho.
Most of my Scion friends that live somewhat close with xBs have all had some sort of paint work done.

No scratches, dents or chips on my 06.5 xB.....

Helps that the car is not a DD and is stored in the winter. Also, I have a full Colgan car bra for the front bumper, hood and mirrors that is used for any trips out of the city.

Mine is in awesome shape except for the usual tiny rock chips on the hood...
It also helps that I have a beater car, so it sits for the winter months. When I road trip, my Colgan keeps the front end from getting beat up some more.
