Mine is still in excellent shape. I my front lip could use a repaint, but that's the way it is with a flat front end and being lowered. I try to wash once a week, clay and polish twice a year, and wax every three months.

Mine's all original. Never been repainted, yet. Working on 2 toning it. Only one 1" scratch in the drivers rear door, but it polishes so you really can't see it.

Default OEM Paint

Hey all been awhile since ive been in here, I saw this post and had to reply to it. I have 2006 xb Black sand wit 2000 miles on it. It stays covered in a warm garage in the winter, it has been washed 1 time at the dealer when i fisrt bought it. thats it. Its never seen rain, snow, dust, grime, well maybe some dust!!! LOL, my wife says I take better care of my Xb than her. waxed once a week on sundays , my day off. it only comes out when its 75 degrees or above. and sunny!!! im trying to preserve it. might sound crazy but I love my Xb!! I start it frequlently and drive very little and i dont tail gate. but i'll take her out one the expressway and let it rip! I got it loaded with leds custom rims wing, door seals all factory options ,I dont keep much gas in it because gas goes bad after 30 day. And last but not least. NEVER NEVER park it where I cant see it!!!!!Long Live The Mighty XB........[img][/img]

my new one is all original

right after I bought it the shyster dealer put one of his sales lot stickers on the back of my box..
I almost beat him down

instead I scraped off the lettering and polished it
looks great
now to get the badges off

They always try that so I always make it know right from the start of the deal that no one is allowed to put one on.

gas lasts longer than 30 days..
I put my 66 mustang up every year..I fill it to the top..so the gas tank doesnt rust out..
I've never had any trouble getting it restarted in the spring

Yeah, Gas nowadays is usually good for 4-5 months before it starts going stale. Anything longer than that needs to be treaded with Stabil. Because mine sits for long periods I use Seafoam about every oilchange just to keep the injectors fresh.

I'm the 2nd owner, 1st owner didnt do any paintwork
but there is a thin line scratch on the door and a dent on the rear quarter
really not noticable (but i'm ****)

I feel bad that i never did a full detail on the ride and i've been the owner for 15 months already lol

So this spring i'm going to be taking it to a local place to get the full "rub and tug" job lol and catch it up .

After that i'll frequent more upkeep..... i hope....
