Default How to value my scion

I have (had) a black 2006 Scion Xb with additional accessories put on by the dealership I bought it from. I got in a 4 car pile up on the highway and I'm pretty sure it's totaled. So I'm trying to do all the research I can to support getting a good payout amount from the insurance company and make sure they don't low ball me. Of course on my purchase contract for the car, the additional accessories (which cost me $5,995) are just labeled as "California Dream Package". It doesn't have anything itemized and when I called the dealership for that they said they never itemized it so they don't have any information to give me. I was looking for a way to post on this forum somehow and just see what responses I get back as far as what the current market value of my car would be to others (I've already done kbb.org and edmunds.com and called 2 dealerships) and then also what the aftermarket parts are going for so I have solid evidence to show the insurance company. And what better place to do that than a Scion Forum with those that are enthusiastic about their scions! (Since I didn't know that much about the car or that it was so popular). So if you could show me how to post or even maybe have your own input that would be great.

The car is a 2006 Black Scion Xb. Mileage 102,300. I am the original owner. I'm pretty sure it was the base model and then they added that package on. The package included special struts (they lowered the car 2" to give it a nice low profile), hood scoop, rear spoiler, momo wheels, yokohama tires, green light kit (not sure the brand because I never really used it) underneath the car, TRD Cold air intake, and racing style pedals.

I'm trying to find pricing on what those things would cost and then also what I should be looking as far as price range to be getting back from the insurance company. Maybe someone in this forum has had a car accident where their scion Xb 2006 was totaled and they can share their experience with me? Thanks!

You have a $5,995 upgrade package on the car contract, that is very good.

They will prorate a protion of it to you in the settlement. You need as many clean and clear pictures of as many of the options as you can and show them together with your "Dream package" paperwork.

What ever the percentage of the car's "value" without the accessories try to get them to apply to the package. i.e. 30% of retail is the totaled amount then try to get 30% of the $5,995 package too.

Any ideas on where to find the MSRP on some of the aftermarket parts? I can't seem to find a website where that is listed.

id say take no less than 8k..The want for the first gen xb and the fuel cost has driven the value up on the first gens..ive seen some go from 8-15k on lots but im going to say private value is around 6-7k
