How widespread is xA/xB clutch slip problem?

I don't plan to add any performance mods to my xB, but this makes me think that using full power with the stock clutch will eventually make it slip, which won't be covered by warranty, so I will be faced with buying the $300 TRD clutch parts and paying almost $1000 to have them installed. Bummer.
