Default I really want to tint the front window...

Because the window is too tall for me (I am very short) and the sun is ALWAYS in my eyes! I want to tint the front windows to match the back, and match the front window (at the legal line) so it will not blind me every day. What do you think? Does anyone have that? I just want to see what it looks like.

When I got my tint they put a strip across the top of the front windsheild and it looks way good! Is this what you're talking about??

If you want to tint the entire front windsheild, you better be running on diplomatic license plates bro cuz like he said ^^ it's super illegal!

According to tintlaws.com, you are allowed a four inch tint visor on the front windscreen. That's it, otherwise it's highly illegal, and depending upon the level of tint, super dangerous.

That is exactly what I am talking about, the strip across the top. It's not illegal! Oh, and I am not a bro, just to let you know...

And my face is too small to find any sunglasses that fit...I even try on the kids ones, and they are too big for my face!!Ahh! Oh, and when I wear heals, I can't rest my heal on the floor and reach the petals at the same time!! That's how small I am! I am on the front click of where the seat can go, so I can push in the clutch!! So tcking, can you post pics of what it looks like??

well i have all the back 5% , 20% on the drivers and passanger windows, and a 20% strip on my windshield. it is realy hard to drive when it is dark and rainy due to the inside of the car being soo dark. i think if you tinted the whole windshield you would have a realy hard time driving at night, or in rainy conditions. Not is it just illegal, it is a big safty hazzard IMO, but it would look nice

I am short too and I also have the sun problem. There is just so much windshield and not enough visor. I just wear really dark sun glasses.

wearing a hat will definitely help, as should sunglasses if you can locate some that will fit you properly.
i think the driver and passenger side tints would be good, go for around 30-35% to avoid getting attention from cops. the front windshield tint should also be ok, maybe again 30% or so. the tints might not be crazy dark, but they will make your box look a little bit more classy and decrease glare accordingly.
good luck.

I have no problem driving with tint at night. My boyfriend has a G35 with full limo tint, and I am used to it now, and I am not going to be going limo, so I can only imagine that it will be easier than driving his car.

Mine is full face front tint. Not regulated were I live, unless your a veteran and live in the military bases. Even cop's POV have their front windsheild fully tinted. Go figure.

In California, a tinted windshield is big trouble if you get stopped for it. Go for the tint strip at the top...I was told it's legal in CA up to 5 inches. It looks pretty good, and it'll keep the sun off enough. Tint your side windows, tho.

I have 5% all around 8" drop strip across the front window but my entire front window is tinted 50% all the way down. no one can see in the front window even when im driving and the interior lights are on its pitch black to everyone trying to look in... the only windows that are illegal is the drop tint upfront which in tennessee its 6" drop im 2" over that.. and the front driver and pasenger windows are only aloud to be 25% so when i see cops i drop my driver and passenger windows down... never been pulled over for tint and i've run this setup on 3 cars. its a great security feature cause with car locked and all the windows up even with ur hands cupped over the windows u can't see in.

before tint

after tint

drop tint but can barely see the line

okay let me correct myself... you can see my knuckles on the steering wheel but u can't see past that and the only thing u can see from the rear is the glow of my tv screen but u can't make out what it is.. just a light source.

i don't use sunglasses i find them to be very annoying, and only time i really need something is when im going uphill into the sun but usually drop of the visor fixes this.
