It's awsome and original, but not quite for my car...I like mine to be simple...that is really sweet though!

I had an "eyebrow" done when they did my front windows...it is I think 4 inches at the mirror, but it tapers out to 8 inches on the ends...never have had a problem with the laws here in Indy. helps a lot with the sun glare. the only thing I don't like is the tint wont stick to the dots around the top of the windshield....I have had it redone twice. still have spots that won't stick.

Here is a pic of my windshield strip. It's done in 5% to help stop the sun.

here's my strip (it's on a tC though, not an xB). i've found it useful many times and it gives it a unique, sweet look.

Doesn't anybody do a strip that curves with the top of the window anymore?! I guess that requires too much talent! (sarcasm)

^^^Thats how I was gonna have mine done but liked the dip down toward the outside better. Gives me extra sun coverage that comes in handy.

In California it's only a fixit ticket so at the worst you're out the money for tint and $10 to get the ticket signed off.

You could always go for a level "close" to the legal limit on the side windows...

Are you guys talking about the front doors or the windshield? Cause if I understand correctly tinting the whole windshield is a federal law.
