Well, still driving my xB... and still no insurance money... I got mail from the insurance company a few weeks ago, and they are (after 5 months) willing to total it. But I called them today, and they are "still crunching the numbers".

But now the new 2007 "xB" will be released soon. Soooooooo, I can wait a bit longer

it takes 75% of the value of a car to total it and if you trade it in your going to loose almost everything it was originally worth because of it being wrecked that hard

Just wanted to say that I traded my baby in last monday. I got a loaded '07 Jetta 2.5 instead. I'm loving the new car, I just miss the head turning looks of my xB, but the passing power makes up for some of it. And coming from a car with such great gas milage, I really notice the difference.

Overall I am very happy with the new car, the crash rating's can't be beat. And when I'm going 120 the 2.5, it isn't screaming to keep up with my lead foot :D. FYI, I've only done that once, not looking for another accident...

congrats on the new car and I'm happy to see everything was sorted out. Like the VWs, although (as I've said before) I wish that the diesel was in the '07 model.
