I'm renting a polar white xB that has most of the upgrades( 18 inch wheels, interior illumination, etc) and everyone that sees it goes nuts for it! My husband just took it to the gas station and 3 different people wanted to look inside it. They've never seen anything like it before. This little girl almost got hit by a car because she started to walk out into traffic infront of the supermarket to see it better. People keep stopping infront of our house to stare at it. It's crazy! I knew it would turn heads...but not every head!! I think that I'm definitely gonna buy one! Has anyone else seen this kind of reaction?

 

Who rents them?

 

We rented it from the dealership. They only had one of each model available to rent.

 

What's the rate?

 

It was a great rate. 69.95 for the weekend. Fri-Mon

 

my dealer has them for $25 a day. :D

 

I drove it to Orlando on Saturday and I got about 10 thumbs up and everyone kept turning around in their seat to see it. People kept coming up to us to see it. Alot of people pointed and smiled. This one lady in a mini was pointing and waving at us. I still haven't seen another one yet.

 

I just got my xB on Friday, the 27th. I've been driving around nonstop and I've been getting reactions, too. Somebody actually parked next to my xB in a parking lot and waited for me to come back to my car, so he could talk to me about it. He said that a bunch of other people had stopped to look at it while I was absent. :D

Aside from the attention, in the three days I've had the car it has been turning out to be better than I had expected. I had taken a few for test drives and feel like mine is driving 10x nicer than any of those had. I'm loving the ride and am having a blast finding new things to hook it up with.

Some of the dealers are renting them cause they MUST have one "on the lot" at all times. And as they are hard to get (still) and there is low payments to the dealer that renting one makes it so it's "on the lot" but the dealer makes money on it anyway.
