Default JDM non-smokers box install?

hey everyone! This is my first post. I just got a 2006 xB about a month ago.
I got the JDM non-smokers box in the mail today and, i feel sill asking because it seems so simple, but does anyone know how to install it? All the directions are in japanese haha. i just can't figure out how to ensure it doesn't pull completely out of the cubby when i open it. There are these little black foam/rubber things that came with it and i'm guessing that's what i need to use as the stoppers, but i can't, for the life of me, figure out where they need to go, and the pics in the directions aren't very clear. Can someone please help me out? thank you

Thanks I'll check it out. If the price is right I may even get one.

The picture makes it look just like the ashtray we already have. Would it not fit the same space that is there by just sliding in?

Looks like it's just a matter of pulling out the ashtray and putting in the new thing. Couldn't be simpler.

Slide your ash tray out and install the top metal bracket/clip from your old one to the new one. Snap the handle to the front of the new one.

Package with part number:

JDM = left • USDM = right

Everything attached:

See, but with the metal flap reattached, it becomes just as useless as the regular one. All it ends up being is a felt lined ashtray.

I keep validated parking tickets (for the garage at work) in there, that's about all it's good for.

^ That is pretty much exactly what it is. For a few bucks you could add the felt or some other material to the OEM one.

Yea, I would've liked to see it have a slightly different stop in back to allow it to slide out further.
