Just got rims a week ago & the lug nuts are all rusty?

The thing I said isnt a paint, its a clear liquid and it turns the rust black. It wont add any layers to the lug so the key should still fit.

Get closed end style McGards.

Small diameter for easy fit, locking lugs are weight balanced to standard lugs. Floating washer seat doesn't gouge your wheels. Thick chrome, no rust.

Cheap? No. But a fair price for top quality. At least take a look before buying!

I've got the socket head tunner lugs and use a Q-tip to coat the inside hex part with a light coat of grease. 2 yrs. with zero rust problems. Plus the tool part doesn't stick inside the lug anymore.
