Can't believe all the attention this car generates. I was at Costco buying floor mats for the car and while driving into the lot, a lot of heads turned.

Love that muffler too.

Thanks for all the help from everybody to explain to me how to upload this picture. :D

Congrats. I picked up mine last week and stopped by Costco - the only negative comment I have received I got there. The old guy parked next to me commented my RS02 was the ugliest car he'd ever seen. I almost asked him who dressed him that morning, his wife or his nurse?

I agree. Last year when I went to the ocean there was a car show that happen to be going on at the same time. People were taking pictures and video of my lava box(stock) I just shook my head.

Ofcourse my friends loved it cause of the attention. Ever second they would yell out the window "Thats right...its orange biotch"

Its def a fun car.If you don't like people looking I would get rid of it now

In yesterday's Seattle Times, the front page of the weekly Motoring section had a big picture of a RS2 xB parked on a street in Manhattan with an accompanying article about the
Scion brand. Like the song "New York, New York" says:
"If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere"...

what is happening before our very eyes: We and -our cars- are "making the market". Scion did not -advertise- the RS2 because

-there was no need to spend money pushing the second RS. They knew it would sell out just fine, esp. because there are relatively so few to buy

-they may not have known this, though: That the yellow xB would slowly but surely grow on the public and on Scion owners.. as it seeps in that this yellow on the boxy Scion makes -an unbeatable Sunny statement. Advertisers seem to have picked up on this already.

Prediction: business owners, more and more of them will get the idea to use a yellow xb for advertising their business. Even just by -parking- the RS2 or imitation yellow in front of his/her place of business: it makes a draw and landmark. Put a comany sign on an RS2 and badda BLING

bottom line: Our RS2s will appreciate in value for a while. You wait and see.

It just took a little bit of time for these facts to soak in (cos the yellow is such a shocker) But now the media is falling for the xB in solar yellow. We'll see one in a TV commercial very soon, mark my words

I should be in advertising instead of piano tuning
