Cost ......
I ordered mine from my local Toyota/Scion Dealer. They said the price also was 129.00, he then called me back and stated that price was not correct, it is going to be sold for 99.00, my dealer also offers those who bought a vehicle from them a 20% discount on all parts and stuff, so my price he stated was 79.00, I paid for it and am waiting for it to arrive ....
This is a nice option !

I have to disagree with the comment that it is flimsy since I put my full weight on it and everything held (not that I do that a lot or anything, but I wanted to test it).
We did a little road trip to a club meet today and I was very pleased with it. My passengers in the back seat (2 buddies from work, not little kids or anything) had no "lack of space" issues with the cup holder.
I like being able to flip it up when I don't want it as well. Not a convenience I absolutely NEED, but it's nice.
The only downside is the lack of storage. Since I only had change in the Boomerang anyway it's not a big deal to me. I just put the change in the ashtray since I don't smoke.
So, that's my review. Agree with me or don't. I hope it was helpful to some.

I just got mine! Both!
One for the xB, and one for the xA. They go in easy.
It's a snap. About 15 minutes for the xB (the first one done), and then about 5 minutes for the xA.
Nice fit, comfy, and look great.
They do not take up much rear leg room at all in the car. Well, the xA has a bit less rear leg room then the xB, but I kinda figured that going in.
Thumbs up for a great product!

Armrest shipped BROKEN!
I ordered the armrest yesterday from newscionparts.com, and it came via UPS today!
However, the armrest came broken in three pieces. The swivel mount at the rear of the armrest is broken. If it broke during shipping, I don't see how it's going to tolerate daily use!
I should mention that there were NO PACKING MATERIALS inside...no bubble plastic, and no foam peanuts!
I called Carson Toyota immediately, so it can be returned, and money refunded.

Scion arm rest
Hi,
Got mine in today from Newscionparts. Took like 10 mins to install....my reading glasses had difficulty focusing on the little hook things on the chair rails....
But it looks nice. As solid as plastic can be....
I notice, for me, my forearm seems to rub on the front part of the armrest as I shift gears. The material is kinda rough to that extent.
Its a little awkward setting the emergency brake when parking, only in that you have to move the armrest up to pull the brake lever...no biggie tho....
I am very happy to have it all in all.

Installed the OE scion armrest today... Took 5 minutes, It looks OEM. It fits perfectly and looks totally factory.
Well worth the $80.. Glad I waited.
Will try and get some pics and post them

Got mine today from newscionparts.
Put it in and viola, we gots ourselves an armrest!
OK, my minor complaints iinclude how it blocks the hand brake and I'm not digging the suspended cupholder in the back, but again I am glad I got it.
$79.00 plus shipping.

It makes access to the seatbelt a little tougher...I guess for the guys changing from another armrest they are accustomed to both of these things, but I have not had an armrest in the box since I bought it so I'm still getting used to it...
Truthfully, a week after instaling it I don't find myself even using the armrest...I tend to drive this car with my right hand on the wheel (auto trans) and my left arm on the door sill...but my passenger may use it, and even if neither one of us does, it does give the interior a more finished look...

installed yesterday
finally recieved my scion armrest. I must say for the money it is well worth it. Installation was too easy . Only one complaint is it is a little to low but just pimp down and to the right and u are in some comfort zone
