Default Keeping it clean-mods that look like nothing has been done

I read someones tag on here that said 'when good mods are done it looks like nothing has been done'

I like that idea-it doesn't date when the car was modded like Fast and Furious mods or anything from the 80's-it also keeps the cops or anyone else from noticing (keeps you out of trauble) so here are my clean mods (so far)-what do you guys (and gals) think

interior mods look good, but you need to zip tie center your exaust. i am not a fan on re-badging so i'll keep from posting those comments, but it does look clean for sure. would like to see more pics of interior mods if you have more, like hidden amps, stealth sub install, etc.. keep up the good work!

The wheels are 17's (Konig Tantrum), 205/50-17 front Michelin Pilot HMX (don't really recommend these), 215/45-17 rear Michelin Pilot Sports (these are the bomb-but orig price is like $315 each-I got the hook-up slightly used, $75 a piece mounted)

Anybody else doing clean mods post as well, well I guess what I mean is understated but modded.

Looks good so far. Now lose the rear wiper and get the correct 215/40/17 inch tires.

The 40 series killed the ride-that's why I ended up where I did-it also added some highweay flexibilty by effectively upping 5th gear.

I had the rear wiper off, I never use it, I don't know. I thought maybe a really bright LED with a switch so whenever anybody follows to close....

Ok got it. Didn't realize you were having trouble with 215/40s riding rough.
The more I look at your emblem set up tho, it's growing on me.

I had 215/35-18s when I first got it (that was horrible riding).

These tires made it feel like a much more solid car-rode like something that weighed more with some sound deadoning.

You would have still been ok with the 215/40/17's without the risk of rubbing. That 18" size is a bit harsh without the Monroes struts and shocks tho.
My new Monroe struts are on order and the stock springs are going back on. I've grown tired of sitting lowered now.

I totally agree, and I applaud you for taking a "minimal / clean" approach to your mods. That being said, I have to comment on your badges. I know that Scion is a Toyota brand, but are you ashamed of your Scion? IMO, thats kinda like taking a MR2 and slapping a Lexus badge on it. Back in the day I would always see Civics rolling around all badged up w/ Acura, and my first thought would always be...rice. Anyhow, its your ride and you should dress it up how you see fit, but that was just my .02.

The green interior if from the DIY tech section here, they use these little light bulb condoms for an autometer tach (other color available). It's about a 15 minute job

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...283&highlight=

I like Scion a lot-I also like the fact that it's a Toyota and in Japan (there are no scions, lexus, acura, etc there) ithe bB is the same thing with Toyota logos but I tried the bB logo and wasn't sure. I hadn't seen anybody do this yet and it's still technically correct. If nothing it's like customizing but without anyone that doesn't know their stuff knowing it.

It's also lowered but not so much that's it's obvious.

I like the clean lines of the OP's Toyota badges. Different than every other box around. Besides, the stock Scion front badge is HUGE. Looks like a flying saucer or a battering ram, imho.

I rock the bB only because its a lot more in scale with the little car. Ashamed? Hell no! One of the three best cars I've owned to date.

I like colormatching. lower and middle grill, sidemirrors, wiper nozzles for subtle mods.
