Default Kelly blue book pricing messed up.

I went on the page to see how much my RS 1.0 is worth, well it doesn't have it on there. So i put it as a 2005 and it has the RS 2.0 for that year. Why don't they have the RS 1.0? I am mad. So i will never no my blue book value. Does this make sense to anyone.

Makes sense to me cause the RS pkgs. don't really have any extra value yet when it comes to trade-in or resale.
Maybe later when the cars get more age on them these price guide sites will update their systems to recognize the value of the RS pkgs. For now they aren't worth any more than regular xBs in their eyes.

If the the RS xBs are not worth anything more for trade-in or resale now, why should they be in the future? What will change?

they may be worth another 1%, but really with the special editions being not much more than a low-quality paint job that will probably need to be redone in 10 years anyway, i don't think much. Not trying to rain on anyone parade, but people comparing worthy special editions from other car manufacturers to RS Scion's is pretty bad.

VW buses
R32's
Mustangs
convertables

all have a real difference between the stock version and the special editions, (i.e. more windows, awd, faster motor, etc...). Even cars that are 20th-30th-40th anniversary edition of their model that don't add anything but a paint job and colored stitching don't increase the value anything.

I don't know! Maybe there will be high demand for perfect versions on the RS series that will drive up the prices. My crystal ball broke so ask someone else.

Since the main difference is only a different paint (color) job, the resale value doesn't usually change. Any mods can easily be added aftermarket if desired.

The only reason I can think of is that with the RS1.0 there was only the Lava paint, billet grill and the orange accented interior. Not enough stuff in the pkg to show up on their radar like the others even tho Lava was my fav.

Now in the case of my sister in law's 2004 xA RS1.0, there is good reason for it to be worth more. It has a factory sunroof, factory alloy wheels, and a distinctive factory grille, in addition to bright red paint and special seat coverings.

^ Who said it was an '05?
The OP said he didn't see RS1.0 listed, so he checked '05 to see if the 2.0 was there... Hell, it lists 3.0 as an '05 and '06, so I wouldn't worry too much. The fact is, it's going to have approximately the resale value as any of the other Release Series. The people who are seeking an RS knows what it's worth...

Obviously reading skills are a lost art, at least for some people...
