any pics of the front two xb doors lambo (butterfly) style and the back two, suicide?

and any idea on how much that might cost me?

 

IMO, just doing the suicide doors in the rear would look just fine. no reason to mix it up and do the lambo doors in the front. But its your call. Vertical Doors costs about $1800, i know you can find it it for a better price. As far as suicide doors go, you can get the hinges for about $450, but then theres the cost of labor. Uh... it costs a ton. And there's a lot of work involved with doing the suicides. Lambos will set you back around a grand.

suicide is awsome but lambos are ___ and out played at this point, ive been looking into the suicide doors on the rear as my winter project, there is info out there but hard to find and nobody is willing to give up their secrets..........all i can tell you is you better be a hell of a welder and fabricator and no be afraid to spend lots of money and time on this project, and your looking around 50 hrs labor per door if youcan find a shop that is willing to even touch a xB, so i dont what your labor rate is but i would bet at least $50 or more an hour for fabrication, so that makes it about $4000 labor for doors alone (just a estimate dont hold me to it) , plus parts and paint

 

low down xb is right man, if it wasnt for me doing mine myself it would have cost me a crap load. only cost me 450

the pic below is only about a 1/3 of the work in the 1/4 panel. there is a ton of support bars that hold the doors up too.

my two brothers are mechanics, maybe they'll help.

 

Hopefully, they know what they're doing as far as body work... Otherwise, you're gonna eff up your box. Being a mechanic doesn't mean you can do the body work involved in doing suicides... there's a reason so few have done it *successfully*.

 

wack is da man, his box rocks, and i dont want to push you away from it, i just done want to see you end up with a car that structualy unsound and would do you any harm, no to mention what would you do with the car if it got messed up?

Suicide is so nice, but way too expensive to do. Maybe I'll win the lotto and do it.
