Default LED DRLs?

What do you think of this? / Has anyone tried this with the B on the grills or oem fog slots?

(MS Paint in the mid grill ftw)

I really like the idea of using LEDs as an energy efficient yet stylish way of having daytime runners. Think Audi R8, and also LED halo/angel eyes

Hmmm. Maybe try to put it in the top grille.

I'll be doing something similar soon. There's a small opening in the headlight to the left of the bulb. A 5mm LED fits in there, and I plan on wiring it to the parking lights.

I did something similar, but in the next grill down.

I don't have that setup any more. A little mishap and lost both sides. Didn't replace them.

Should work fine. You could go with a narrower angle LED, which will be brighter. Being farther up will make them easy to see. I ended up going with a wider angle LED, which was less bright. To the eye it looked brighter, cause you could see it at every angle. With the narrow angle it looked dim until you looked at it head on and then they were really bright.
