I sat on a bucket in the rain last night sucking gas . I am reminded of a Die Hard movie where Riggs sucked gas and spit it out and said Exxon! We'll see. I was only able to get 2 1/2 gallons out when the pump failed. I will drive it down to 1/4 tank, refill and let you all know.

You are a moron. Gas has weight. By filling it up from almost-empty, you add about 80 pounds to the car. Of course it's going to be a little slower.

You're the one _____ing about using the wrong gas and messing up your car.

Gas is 6 lbs/gallon
times
11.90 (XB Capacity)=
------------------
71.4 Lbs

And considering I wasn't on fumes and had, say 2 gallons left

2 gallons
times
6lbs per gallon=
------------------
12 Lbs

Hence

71.4lbs
minus
12 lbs =
-----------------
59.4 Lbs of weight added when I filled up.

You really think this would cause the car to lope?

Does anyone feel a significant difference when they fill up?

Max2k, Your point is taken, just not the manner in which you delivered it.

It was actually 93 at both stations when I filled. I checked yesterday when I filled up with 87.

And guess what?

After 3 or 4 miles the power returned.

The gas it was!
