So DriverLost (i.e. Rob) just let me know that he is first in line for an RS4.0 xB . . . This may be the first order for the car, before it's even announced! What a guy! I can't wait to see this car!

when you put in your order for one, did they give you a rough (or preferably, an exact) estimate of how much it would cost?

I say that because I have an 06 white xb that I want to trade in for the rs4... I will only buy the rs4 if it's under 18 grand though - which i don't think it will be.......

The DealerShip I purchased the new RS4 here in Denver said the cost will be around
17600.00, but who knows for sure, I don't think they know. But, Ya I hope it is under
18K... I had to put down a Deposit for 250.00, which is fully refundable if I decide not
to buy!! I can't wait till Nov!!! Hopefully my Mini-cooper will be sold by then....
Congrads to ya'll that have one on order!! kimBERLY

Well of course he did'nt give me any exact price? so, lets just
say w/taxes, dealer handling, etc.. ya 18,700 sounds about right.... my friend has my mini at his car dealership and we are
going to try and figure out how we can somehow use it as a trade in, like have him buy the RS and I buy if from him, save on taxes or something.. to that effect!

As far as Trading in a car, NOWAY, I have been around and in the Car Business my
whole life (Grampa is a Car Dealer), I also sold cars in Denver. That is where they
make all the money. So, you need to put your car on Craigs List, E-bay, Auto Trader,
or the newspaper, That way you can get the best price for your Car.. Then you have the money to buy a new one

TRUE, You put it up for sale and continue making your payments, ASK more than what you owe, then once sold, pay off
old loan and buy the new car!! Trading is easier, but a Rip off,
they make you think your getting a Killer deal, but really they
are getting the Killer deal...Just try selling on your own, & put OR BEST OFFER, that way it leaves it open for negotiating the price.. Also, go to NADA.com and look at retail vs Trade in Value and you can decide what to start selling it for...Hope this helps... kimBERLY
