very nice, but impossible to see the gauges, so kinda pointless IMO

I agree.
I think, but I may be wrong , that they mean it is hard to read guages from drivers seat.
Why not locate them just to the left of the speedometer/odometer/tach?

Otherwise, looks fine to me.

I've never had a problem reading them. Wasn't willing to drill into my new dashboard for some gauges...Maybe I should take a picture from the driver side to give you guys perspective! All good..everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I'm not knocking you for putting in gauges, I just want to make that clear. But isn't a lot more ergonomical and safe to have the gauges in front of you so that you aren't looking to the other side of the car while driving? That's where I have a problem with the gauges.

why not mount those gauges to the left of the speedo? its tucked out of the way but still accessible

Thanks for the compliments..I actually held the camera while I was in the driver seat! No, I used a camera mount..but not a headrest mount!

I am running, Oil Temp, Water Temp, and Oil pressure. Scion only offers the little light as a sign of your water temperature. Normally, my water and oil temps are around 80 degrees Celcius. I've seen it go up to 100 C on certain days, but nothing over that.
