Funny that I am reading this, today I installed my brand new rims only to come outside and see the same thing , 50 pound tree branch dropped dented up the whole roof and side bow, I think it even nicked the bumper too. I am currently in talks with insurance but having some trouble. How did you take care of it Nocfire, I am so furious I do not know where to begin, to top it off the police were telling me it just the top of a car who cares, they didnt even want to give me a report ! Thank Goodness I wasnt standing by the passenger door ! Woulda been horrible : / , I hate trees, after 10 feet around urban they should stop growing haha.

Hey guys im back with a report. So i got my XB back it was fixed and looks like new. I missed it so damn much and it feels good to drive it again. Everything was taken care of and the insurance paid for it. BiancoXb Basically u have to find out if the tree was city property. If it was you can file a report or claim with them. My insurance was pretty good and understanding about the situation. If your insurance does pay for the damages make sure after everything is done u keep your receipts and a copy of the estimates. Then what u would have to do is file that claim and wait for the city to contact you. Im going to try to get my Deductible back which was $300 and also get $500 for rental car. Hopefully it all works out but thats all i really did. Ill keep you posted.
