No photo shop or editing, I used a Canon Digital Rebel using different time value to keep the shutter open. There are four different shots. The first two the XB drives part of the picture and then stops, then it was hit with a flash several times to get the XB detail and color to come in. The third shot was done the same way but the time value was reduced and it was not hit with a flash to light it up, this gives the ghost/fading image. The last shot was done with the XB driving through and not stopping so only the lights were picked up.

I wish i had rear curtain sync on my SLR to get that effect with flash...

My flash shots look like the car is going backward! LOL

That's nothing. . . older AMC cars came with flux capacitors.
