Need to get Toyota "T" and IST Badge
anyone know where I can get the T badge and the IST badge pretty quick? I need them because me basically stock "IST" is going to be showing on Oct. 3rd... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!! :D

cabeperformance.com and newscionparts.com sell the ist badge. I'm sure you can pick it up at their parts departments too. The T badge (rear) for the ist will be hard to find. I'm sure there's another toyota car's badge that'll fit the rear. Highlander? 4runner? The front badge...you'll have to bondo or puddy it to make it look good (a la tbblizzard)...

If you want the front badge I would say best bet is trying to see if you can import one. It would look way better then most trying to make it work jobs would. Just my $.02. Also the store here on the forum (under construction right now) Has the badge for sale but might take some time to get because I think they are straight from Japan.

a la tbblizzard eh?
T badge for rear you will not find it in the states, no Toyota has a badge that large. Highlander has the largest badge and it's not very big. You can use Highlander's grill badge for your front bumper. With some cutters/razor blade, sand paper, bondo and paint you can mold it to your front grill. It's a perfect fit in place of the Scion emblem. Clip/cut the prongs on the back of the emblem off. Stick some sand paper on a block of wood and sand it to get the back of the emblem flat. Mask off your grill where you around the emblem spot and fill it with bondo, sand, and paint. Apply the Toyota emblem on with some double-sided tape and you're good to go.

That looks good. I have a question then. I know the bB had a gen 1 & 2 in Japan does the ist also have a gen 1 & 2? I ask because I have a ist as my back ground & it does not use the T badge on the front of the car, so whats up with that?

Actual Ist uses "I" emblem in front grill. It's a totally different emblem/grill. The Toyota xA's in other countries use the Toyota emblem in the front grill. Personally, I like the Toyota emblem in the front grill better than the "I" emblem.

whre did you get the T badge from on the rear of you car? I found that the rear emblem on the newest solara's are only a half inch smaller then the stock scion badge on the rear. what did you use???

I got it from Singapore on a trade. That 1/2" smaller will make a difference. The emblem sits inside a groove, it'll look funky if you have something smaller than the grove in there.

extreme autofest eh... i'm going to that :D
if you're using the usdm spec grill/scion grill, then you don't want an Ist badge, you want the T badge from a Highlander. They call it a radiator badge. If you need help mounting it up let me know.
