Clay, I sent a copy of the naked woman's pic to the TPD so they can keep look-out for you.

I love the way the blue makes it more subtle. Esp. if it's a daily driver... it's cool to have something that you have to be closer than a few yards to make you say "holy crap!"... that otherwise looks like an interesting 2-tone paintjob.

I was just thinking the same thing. I've lived in Oklahoma for a few years and can remember what it was like.

OK..... so i see that some of you don't like it now that it has paint, but this was my intention. i wanted some graphics that were hidden "into" the paint. i didn't want it to stand out so that people passing me on the road would just see a bunch of airbrushing and Sh*t! I wanted to hide it, but not so much to were you can't see it up close.

The object is to see a nice paint job, and as you get closer and start looking, you'll notice a few things in detail, which by instinct, you'll look for more. theres not a spot on it where you won't find something incredible! I like the blue, and you can't tell from the pics because of the terible lighting (those pics were takin at 9pm in a poorly lite shop), but it has a nice fade to purple! when i saw it in person, it was a little dusty from the sanding, but we wiped a few spots down with water, and dried it off, then shined a flash light on it, and you can see all the detail! I didn't want my XB to be all tatood up and just rool like that. its not my style. the Paint toned it down ALOT, and thats what i like about it. you don't know whats airbrushed until you start looking!

I also like the green flames. i hose to go with rainbow falke in the green to add a bit of sparkle. once this baby is fully compleded and buffed out, its going to look amazing! you guys that don't like the paint over the detail might change your mind once i have pics of it out in the sun (just like Project Fusion said!)

And if you think it looks like "dog poo"..... thats your opinion. i guess my self and 100 people like dog poo, so your on your own buddy!

the XB will be done this week for sure! their thinking friday, but i won't get it back til sunday. the owner of the paint shop is taking it to a car show on Sat. along with 2 othr vehicles that his shop has done! I'll be sure he takes my camera for some kick ___ pics!

And thanks for all of your input guys!

the Dog poo comment was aimed at the item on the floor that resembled dog poo, in the pic that he quoted.

I like my dog poo on a stick. Maybe they will have some at Rooster Days in BA this weekend. Clay, you should enter your xB in the parade, maybe haul the Rooster Queen down Main? Paint looks cool, can't wait to see it.

Yeah, jeesh.

I like the paint job. I like the blue over it subtleness, I like the flames. I'm sure the whole thing will come together when it's smoothed out and blended in. I can't wait to see pics of it in the light.

But, the item on the floor STILL likes like dog poo. Sorry man, it's true and I don't care how many people like it.

ok, so your right......... my XB is Sh*t*ng out Poo! lol
my scion couldn't be in a parade... well it could, but it wouldn't be able to pull anything.... probably burn the transmission up!

BTW UPDATE for all you Okie's.......... I'm picking it up Friday night, and i'll be at the meet with it! The owner of the paint shop can't make it to the car show, so i get my XB. I'm so stoked! I also ordered a new set of 18's today, and they'll be here friday, but my tires won't be here til next week! so you'll all get to see the paint job on 20's. Anyone want to make an offer on the wheel/tire combo?!?!?!?! tires have 95% tread left, and the wheels are in awesome condition!

I've been trying to learn how to use an airbrush by painting plastic model cars. It is MUCH harder than you think.

It is truely a lost art, and the person who airbrushed that xB should not be wasting his talent at an auto body shop in OK. This person should be working for some design studio in Hollywood making 6 figures a year, or something like that.
