The best I can tell is it is about the same tone as the TRD, but prob. about twice as loud.
I had a local shop do all the work for me. I think I spent about $300 or so.
nice...looks good....I love the TRD tone...givin me somethin to think bout!

its Lucas Automotive.
Its been on the xB for 5 days now, still holding. If you read the link, Stickler also got it from them, but I think he had some problem with it. On the last few page, another owner got portawall from ebay, and he put it on a little wider tire, he said its still good, so I guess it should be fine.
WOW I wish I had known about this thread long time ago. Looks like I am not the only one who has these ideas.

I hope to get it painted by the end of next month.

I DO want to do some pin strips That one looks good, maybe
if the face was more of a skull than it would be ON! I will deff, keep
you in mind after I get it painted, I am getting it painted semi pro. with a satin
flat black, or a dupont, "hot rod black"
I would suggest going with a base coat clear coat set up. What alot of the Hot Rodders do is they still use the gloss clear but they are adding a flatening agent to the clear to get that awesome finish you see. In my opinion this is the best way to do it. I can ask a good friend of mine who painted my el camino on how he's done it if you want to know. He's been painting cars for over 25 years. He has also painted many cars that the famous pinstriper Rod Powell has stripped. Not sure how many know the name Rod Powell but he is know for his skills on flaming cars and pinstripping in general.
