Wow, before reading this i could not understand why when i went to the chicago exposed I saw a car with the tape over the bumper. Anyway i does look sort of cool. some one should do this and then use more colored tape and do grafix on there car.

yeah, it'll hold if u do it well enough, mine never holds well in the rain, cause i sucj at applying it
this is the first time i taped iher up, i have gotten way better at it, lol

i think taping the whole thing was a little much... just the front end will suffice.

but hey, it's fun being able to draw and scribble anywhere on the car that you want

I actually use a Colgan and painters tape. I put painters tape on the seams where the colgan might rub.

Exactly right! There are a few select spots that the tape is needed to help fight scuffs from the colgan. It's like you know right where to put the tape prior to the bra install.

why didn't I think of that? I did put a couple of strips on my hood prior to putting the bra on....will have to remember to use a little more on the "scuff " areas...

Colgan makes bras for the xB that are quite kind to the paint and do not flap at speed. We were discussing how there are some key spots that need to be taped prior to installin the Colgan bra.
