when you painted the lights on your del sol did you mean something along the lines of the transparent candy shades used on tail lights to tint them?

if so i'm sure it could be done....dont see why not..

Btw what year and model is your Del Sol my husband has a 1994' Vtec just painted it red too. i find that both the Xb and the Del sol both have that fun to drive factor hehehe which makes them great cars IMO

no, MAX's paint job would not affect the light projection/pattern. As you can see, there is no paint on any part of the reflector surface.

Again... open them up, tape them off, paint them. Reassemble.

Windowtint's xB is definitely in my top 10. Everything is well done and well thought out.

SEE! It was 'easy' wasn't it Jarrod. It's just a car - gotta jump in and tear stuff up, it's the only way to do it.

--Buebie-- more pics are in the 'www' link in the signature. I didn't/don't want to post off-topic photos in Jarrods thread.

Default tried

i tried painting my headlights with testors transparent black. It came out a little bluish for some reason, and had a rough finish to it. so i took it off with alcohol.

they aren't ALMOST like my headlights - they are my headlights (I 'deleted' the 3 LED ports). Looked at the diagram you referred to, I don't seem to remember them being missing on the headlights I installed. Maybe you got a bum pair??

Wow, thats the opposite from mine. I had to break those claws off to make mine work or the bumper wouldnt go on. I bought the cheap ones on Ebay though, shoulda paid a little more and got the Helix brand. I still might.
