Default A Pillar Guages

Has anyone out there seen a gauge mount kit that fits the "A" pillar of the xB? I am getting ready to put mine on the bottle and want a place to mount the gauges.

I'm looking for this type:

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...73&prmenbr=361

I see there are a few people out there with the kits to mount the gauages up on the dash, don't care for them much...

With the quality of product that Autometer puts out, they definitely can fit 4 gauges on the pillar pod.

I have this product on my bB and it looks great. This pillar pod mount saves my sanity when it comes to saving space and keeping my interior look nice and clean.

It's not a very good angle, but I had to take it off the Scion Evolution website.

Enjoy!

I'd like to know how hot my engine is tunning, along with trans, oil pressures. I'd rather go to for and actually know what's going on inside my car than break down for an unknown reason. Looking good Steve!

Anybody, is Auto Meter shipping those pods yet?

Dude, you need to chill until you see the whole car. Although under the hood it may not be a racer, his car looks like one. I bet he makes a lot of tuners nervous when they pair up beside him at a stoplight. If those were on an otherwise stock box, I might agree, but it is part of a theme and it is very well done. I was going to post another pic for you to get the idea, but you can hardly see his Box with all the trophies in the way and the judges mobbing him...

Reminds me of my wife's remark:

Why do you need new wheels? The ones on it work just fine...

as Steve mentioned it's for the shock factor, and he is a racer and is a driver for Buddy Club, he has also taken his xB out on the track of button willow a number of times and the car has handled very well. So it is not anly a RACER, but is also a top SHOW CAR winning several high profile shows like IAS in LA in which he took "1st Place".
So do "chill" before you say something DUMB!!

I definitely WANT the 4 pod. Why? Cuz i want to see how my engine is running, and not have the idiot light come on 10 seconds before it blows!

As for the overkill statement, to each his/her own. I'll need at least 4 gauges myself.

AND, Steve does take his xB on the track, and IS very clean too!

Let a 40-something former SRT-4 owner chime in here.

All those gauges in his car are fine, since it is a SHOW car, and he's sponsored by the gauge maker. However, running an xB on the track is just wrong. I don't get that at all...

And the original post that started all this, putting an xB on the bottle? LOL...that's funny. So now an xB with juice will be able to run with what, a stock Civic Si, Focus SVT, Sentra SE-R, Mini Cooper, or what?

If you want to make the car seriously fast, I'm a firm believer in "there's no replacement for displacement". I'd like to see some of these aftermarket tuners drop a V6 into the xB, or maybe a bigger 4 (2.0 twin cam) that's has a turbo or s/c. But I think it's a waste of money to put serious go-fast goodies into that tiny 1.5 motor.

No "ricer" or "ghetto" mods for me...
