Problems with Manual rear gear and grinding?

Yes I love the whole backing up problem my xB has. If Im at a complete stop, I have to start to feather out the clutch some for it to get into reverse. If Im moving forward any it gets into reverse real easy, but almost seems like the tranny is going to fall out Toyota really needs to get this problem fixed

I'm an experienced clutch driver & I've experienced the same issues with my xB.

It took a few thousand miles to get the shifter nice & loose but I still have to really stand on the clutch to get the car started.

Default Reverse

You can do two things, put it in 2nd gear first then reverse or park it in reverse and start it up. I do the second. Had a lot of cars with the same problem.
