Jennay thanks for the tip bud, but NY is a bit of a haul for me

Will C, who knows. All I know is that she plowed right into it. I had just debadged it a couple of days ago... maybe that dazzled her into smashing into it

Priorities are in check, people are all ok. Lean on YOUR insurance company to lean on HER insurance company and see what happens, you might be surprised. That's how it works in Indiana, but our system is f$cked up.
Anyway, good luck and I hope it all works out.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but at least you all walked away in one piece. The Hot Lava can be replaced, human life cannot. I hope all works out, I will pray for you.

**tear**

me, personally, i wouldn't go do the "ow my neck hurts" thing unless it really does. i sued cause someone pulled out in front of me and totalled my civic (about 2 years ago), bought a honda del sol, put about 10K into it and now (that i have my scion) i look back at the del sol and it's not the same as working, bleeding, and sweating for the money for mods. i understand that it's the lim. edition and the _____ SHOULD pay, but be resonable. think of it like this, if she stays insured, she'll be payin' like 5-6 hundred dollars a month. but that's my 2 cents.

Damn man............
Really sad to see that.I guess she took one for the team.
Im glad that you all are ok.
From my experience and my opinion, she's totalled.
The rear could be fixed.Although it would be really hard to whack off(lol) the rear of another Xb and weld it on and get all of the lines straight. It could be done.
I wouldnt do it though.Once their wrecked their never the same again.
Sorry for your experience and I hope she gets what she has coming to her.
Maybe you could end up with another dealers Lava as some have said.
Keep on them insurance companies as they will drag it out forever.
Usually your ins company will not let you talk to theirs. It between them.
Good luck...................

We still have a couple floating around in Northern California.
Vacaville Scion has one, it is an Automatic.
Just letting you know!

I looked at your thread and thought about what I would do if that happened to #701....sure enough. stopped at a red light last night and a drunk guy in a 3/4 ton GMC Work Truck rear ends me. I now need a new liftgate and a bumper.

Thankfully he was slowing down and only hit me going about 10 mph(i think). Not much dmg, but the lift gate wont stay closed now. I'll post pictures of it later.

Wow that sucks, glad everyone is o.k. The car looks like it could be fixed. I doubt they will total it. I've seen much worse.

damn im sorry to hear that. You just got it too huh??? That makes it worse! the pics dont look that bad but i bet that frame is screwed. dont let the insurance companies give you the run around. they did that to my parents awhile back when their Jimmy got broken in to. they didnt wanna pay up, they finally did and we got rid of them. I'm pretty sure you can get another rs 1 from a dealer. they haven't sold them all i don't believe.
