Wow, that appears to be some small piping! Haha, doesn't look too bad for doing it yourself. I've seen some people get too creative and really do some dumb things.. lol

well i guess that i need to get working on my skid platers too, i have a Sh&$ load of diamond plate at home, but i must say, the skid plate on the front of my brush guard helps alot when im playin off road...if you want i have a short, soundless video that was shot at night on a horrible camera...check for a post of mine labeled "ground clearence not an issue" or something like that

i would post a link, but im goin to bed

Fantastic!!!
This is the same kind of stuff I have been trying to build for my Rally xB.
So far I only have the skid plates in place.
How did you attach the brush guard / light bar to the bumper?
BTW: Awesome pics.

find one for a 85-88? toyo compact truck and extend the tabs that you can mount a whinch too through thr middil grille to the bumper support, and wa la, instant brush guard, i have lights on it now, but hey, it works

My brushguard goes under the upper grill, and attaches to the 2 bolts, those bolts are used to hold the bumper in place. Ill take some pics marrow and post them for ya. For hints, well, it was alot of work, but worth it, just bend, cut and weld, lol.

Oh ya, and thanks for all the compliments!!!!!

RedneckwithanxB I like your brushguard, looks alot prettier than mine, i didnt really clean up the weld. I wanted to know, do your eyelids block any of the light projection, i want to att them to my xB, but worried about the light projection going down, not that i dont have enough light to make up for it, lol.

I posted some pics on my site, heres the link, they show how the guard is mounted, if you wan measuments, or shomthing, let me know.

http://my.prostreetonline.com/member...%20scion%20xb/

I thought of buildin a few more and selling them for about $150-$200 a piece. I just grad from Universal Technical Institute, so now i got time, just need to get a welder back online.

Thanks for the comments ya'll, im going to try hard to get airborn pics this weekend, depends on the traffic on the road.

the eyelids block a little light, but most is projected out, plus them being white helps..

but i have super white Nokya bulbs, a hell of a lot better than the stockers, really worth the $20 on ebay

RedneckwithanxB, thanks for the info, where did you get the material for them? I want to add them to my xB, either with the Dark Cherry, white, or Carbon fiber, and add maybe aluminum behind it, leaving the outter edges of the tape sticky, should reflect the blocked light back into the head light and still be effective.

xBabe
LOL, ya saw my xB huh, where were you leaveing from, i saw a few xBs along the way, where at? We went to Marshall, left to go back to Orange saturday night. Might see ya around again?

Dont worry Complication, your not the only one, but with the g/f i got now, other women looking at me will get ugly, but i wouldnt change it.

Anyways, if im ever over in flordia again, ill give ya a hollar, always up for playing around with outher scions, specially in the mud. The xB is covered in mud right now.
