Default Rear Bumper Applique

And another accessory question.

Has anyone bought the Rear Bumper Applique, and is it worth the $58? I have to paralled park a lot at work, and I dread rear bumper scratches and dings.

if you are removing heavy objects that may drag then it is worth it. other then that i don't think it is really needed, but it will added some protection.

i don't know how some of these other guys keep em shiny as as hell but my ride is outside all the time (full garage) and someone stepped on it with dirty shoes or something and i have been unable to clean it.

for protection it's a plus, for looks...don't bother with it

The applique wont help the car's bumper facing towards the other car. It only applies to the top part of the bumper. I wanted to get one, but after looking at it, it wont do the job well. I think the trix has a thicker top rear bumper protection. Better off going after market, same with the floormats. Get some all weather's at WaLmart and cut away.

I've seen it, and i wouldn't buy it, either. They are very thin, and don't provide much, if any, protection. Lotta peeps say they are hard to keep clean, and then there's the wax build up to deal with (using a toothbrush on it).

I've seen it and don't like it. Ask yourself is a sticker worth 58 dollars?

LOL!

I think the only reason I would get it, is because I have a large black lab who loves to ride in the car with me, and it would prevent his claws from scratching the bumper if I let him in through the back with the rear seats down.

Yup that's what it is, a rough sticker.

It's a sticker.

A thin, flimsy sticker.

It's a waste of money. Don't bother.

I got it, but whatever.

Get some grip-tape from a skate shop and do your own.

i know that the rear bumper applique is pretty thin, so why not try the one from the matrix? that one is pretty good and it seems like it can take a beating more then the scion one.
