Default Rear bumper not properly aligned.

My rear bumper where the two meet at the bottom is off a little. The left side sticks and is not flush with the other. I took it to the dealer they played with it for awhile and said that is the best they can do...has anyone else ran into this problem?

Uh, they all have two pieces. All the ones I've seen anyways. The problem is the little clips that hold it together inside. Bluntly: It's a cheap bumper. It gets misaligned AND(this is the big one) driving through large puddles will literally pull it off your car.

The reason they come in two pieces is that they need to drive the car off a truck and the bumper would drag while doing so. It's in two pieces so that it will fit in the car. The final assembly is done at the dealer. They store it in the floor in front of the rear seats. A body shop can "weld" the two pieces together, but they are concerned it will crack when hitting a large puddle or curb.
