Default Rear windshield shattered...

I tried a search and didn't find anything near what I have experienced. I bought my o5xb used with 50K on the clock. I have put roughly 20k on since then. 3 months ago I awoke one morning to the back glass completely shattered out of the car, there was nothing to indicate it had been done intentionally and there was nothing missing from the car although there were numerous valuable items withing easy reach. I chumped it up to vandalism and coughed up the 500 bones to have it replaced. Today while driving home from my dads house on a smooth roadway I heard a LOUD POP and looked in my rearview mirror o see that the back windshield was shattered. No visible sign of impact ANYWHERE, but I did have the windows tinted today at my house.

so to sum things up, the first time it happened the rear window was untinted and I had driven the vehicle for roughly 7 months and approc 16,500 miles. I had it replaced, drove another 2-3k and had it tinted today and it popped.... STRANGE.

All the sheetmetal looks to be toyata factory and the vin checks clean so I do not think there is a tweaked chassis causing the gate to be in a bind, the gate also appears to be OE equipment.... are there any TSB's regarding a problem like this? Anyone else in my boat? anyonse else sour about dropping a grabd on glass inside 67 months?

30 day warranty on the glass that was installed so i am screwed on it, deduct is 500 and the glass is 505 installed so I am screwed there...

any and all input is welcome...even if you just wanna lol at my ____ty situation...

no, this isn't a problem i have read about before, but it might just be that whoever installed the new rear window did something wrong, maybe didn't settle or seal it right so it moved around over bumps and stuff until it broke. you shouldn't have to pay for another one, it should be under the warranty of whoever replaced it.

The windshield is in the front. The rear is just a window.
X3 with drax. It had to have been installed wrong for it to just break.
