Default Removing the Side Mirrors-XB 1st Gen.

Does someone have a link or could explain how to remove the side mirrors (entire assembly)? I did a search, but it was a no show. Since I'm doing an 'old school' woody wagon, I want to remove the side mirrors and replace them with chrome 50s/retro peep mirrors. Thanks, Breezer

Two threads that might help you, first one is the removal of the side mirrors in a detailed thread about swapping to power folding mirrors, this will show you the removal.

Second thread show how to build brackets for fender mirrors so you don't have to drill holes on the outside of the fender, that is if you are thinking about mounting them there instead of where the original mirror is.
Mad props to "SAKURA" where props are due.

Good luck and happy modding!!!

Hey CanXB, Thank you for those links. I've already bookmarked both of them. Breezer
