Default RS1.0 w/ Tein S-Techs just installed (b4 & after pics!)

finally its done! a buddy and i installed the tein s-tech springs tonight in just under 2 hrs. the install was very straightforward, and i used the DIY for xB springs found here:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20769

on with the pictures...

before...

after (more to come in daylight)...

the springs still havent had time to settle fully, and the after shot was taken only after a short 10min trip to wendys. i LOVE this drop- its very even, and the car is a lot more responsive on the road overall (specially on the highway). body roll has been significantly reduced, and it feels stock in terms of ride quality not counting speed bumps and larger displacement bumps! no weird noises, everything seems to be working just perfectly!

i feel that this was probably the best first mod i could do to this car! i eventually plan to get either koni or trd shocks by the end of the summer to complete the setup. next on the list though is the trd quickshifter :D

questions, comments, or concerns are welcome!

just a little update after 5 days of driving, and you can see that the front is still settling in a bit...

I have the TRD 1" lowering springs on my RS1. I just don't like the look. I want a uniform gap betwen the top of the tire and the fender. My car's rear end looks good, but I don't like the gap in the front, still looks stock to me.

Any recommendations on springs that will lower the car a little more and have a uniform look all the way around? I'm keeping my stock Enkei's so I like some springs to drop on these 17s.
