USAA is charging me around $350 ever 6 months. I have 3 cars and my house through them, so there are discounts in that number. I am married with 2 kids and 33 years old.

Default Nationwide...and VA DMV

Nationwide lists my xB as a 5 door wagon, but the VA DMV lists it as a 5 door sedan.

Almost the same here. We have USAA for $330/6 mths with 3 cars and renters at 32 and 29 years old with 1 kid. Difference must be due to location.

USAA. I am 61 years old and am paying $235 semi-annually on the Scion. Have two other vehicles insured with them as well. I receive discounts for drivers than cars, low mileage, and multiple cars.

just got my State Farm insurance notice in the mail and they call the "B" a sport wagon. is there a difference between a "sport wagon" and a regular "wagon"? i'm paying more for the "B" in insurance than the 2002 Ford Explorer Sort Trac i got rid of. doesn't make sense. i'm calling State Farm monday to find out what's up.

Well, the xb being smaller and lighter makes it less crashworthy than the Explorer. Thus an increased chance of injury in case of an accident hence the higher premium. Also, there are no crash test results for the xB yet so insurance companies have no objective data with which to compare how it might protect the occupants in a crash.
