At first when shopping for a new car I chose the tC over xB for a similar reason everyone I seem to be that everyone in DFW that I saw in one was over 55 (not trying to flame). When my wife and I decided to buy the 2nd car it came down to either the matrix or xB, since we already had a matrix (lost it in an accident) we decided on the xB. After test driving it I realized why people senior to me are smart. It was fun to drive. So the point to all of this is the report is weak beacause they are going by the look of the car not the driveabliity so in that respect MSNBC you guys suck .

I agree, My Hummer H2 was coming up on its warranty so I decided it was time for a new car. I loved the boxy H2, and all of the room to put gadgets and tweak.. So I drove the xB and while significantly under-powered, it offered a lot of interior space for a minimal exterior footprint which is great for parking downtown and hauling friends around comfortably. I later found the car clubs for the scions were much more friendly than any other car club I had been around, and scions had a very diversified age range instead of pulling in one specific crowd. I known toyota had hoped to capture the younger market, but I think they did a better job appealing to the practical market. I will say that I had hoped the vandalism would stop when I sold the H2... Guess I was wrong.

i think it is cool that us older people found a car " micro mini van " that is a great money saver at a great price. I have not seen one young person driving a Xb, but us older people are not out at night much. 75% of all the xB's I have seen near where i live have been for commercial use.

That article is a joke...I do agree with the Aztek being on there. I think whoever wrote that stuff has a secret agenda or something. Well don't all news stations? *cough* Fox *cough*
Personally I could care less if someone 80 or 90 years old drives one, good for them. People should drive something that makes them happy, not something that just gets you from point A to point B.

Funny they broke that window and you still can't get into the car from there or unlock the doors or anything. What rookies. Someone had tried to break into my Dodge Daytona when I was living in San Diego by trying to break out the passenger keyhole regardless of the fact the inside of the car was flashing with alarm LED's. Needless to say, they didn't get into my car. Rookies.....
