Are they talkinga bout the old one or the new one? With a $2000 change in base MSRP, that's a pretty critical distinction.

Most likely the original. The new xB may as well be an entirely different model.

They show a pic of the new one though... but has to be the old one... given the 3 yr thing.

Gotta be the old one. The new one probably has good resale too but it can't be as good as the original.

They always show the latest models. It seems to apply to all versions of the xB but especially the original in my experience.

This is actually old news. Popular Mechanics, edmunds.com, and a few other big names have had the xB 04-06 model in their Top 3 for resale value (based on MSRP) for at least a year and a half now.

^^ and CNN listed it as a "future collector car"

I also saw the xA on a top ten resale value list on AOL, they reffered to the '04, it was number 9

any which way.. its cool to hear.. a lot of vehicles (most) never get mentioned..

Not surprising considering the list resale on my 4 year old xB is only like 800 dollars less than I paid new. Not letting it go any time soon tho.

who cares about resale?
I never plan on selling mine, and no one would want it anyways, not after I am done with them.
