I was just saying that there seem to be so many guys out there who do so much to make their wives happy and give them what they want, but when it comes to what the husbands/boyfriends want, then it's up to the wife if he can "buy his toys" lol Anyway, enough about that. It's none of my concern, I just think straight guys are getting taken for a loop sometimes. I'd almost feel kinda sorry for you if the majority of people with the most wealth and power in this world weren't heterosexual males. But at least some of those rich and powerful (and some not so rich and powerful) can have some kick butt cars! Keep up the good work with the mods, and I hope you don't have to "ask permission" to get what you want on your own car.

You know, I wonder if we could get our banks to slip a little extra money into our accounts if we said we'd give them free advertising on our cool rides. Like a sponsor... lol

You know...I was just thinking...you know how some banks (at least they have in the past) have given away a free toaster when you open an account...well what better advertisment for a bank than on a rolling toaster! Although people might get confused if your xB says "get free toaster when you open an account" they might think "alright I could get a Scion if I join!?" lol I would totally sign up for a free toaster...either xB or something to put bread in. Toast is one of my specialties. lol

I used to be part of that club when I lived with my parents, doing things to a hand-me down car. Did that with the next car when I lived at home too. Now I bought mine and my fiance now doesn't mind if I mod it, just have to make sure I save up the funds to do so. Both of us used to do much more modding to our cars, so it's all good. In fact her current car is modded...slightly, but still modded. Just need to start mine. I'm doing the audio, but am also going to do tint and wheels...to start...

I like to mod the car and no tell anybody what im doing, i also never open the hood at shows. Leaves a bit of a mystery. I always liked seeing really ugly cars with like dented body fenders and missing paint, yet it has a 300WHP engine hiding inside

i would have to say those make the best cars

saddlesore, looks like you have a good deal with two boxes to mod. Do you drive each others cars? I hope so, then you get to enjoy her mods even more than when you install them.

not very often.. I am normally on the road trucking for 2 to 5 weeks at a time, mine just sits at the employer's truck yard... I only get 1 day off for every 7 days out, so when I go home is a truely "madhouse commute" (540 miles round trip)

my next mod is to match paint, then powdercoat the steelies on both.

Is there any possibility of picking of cool parts for your car while you're on the road? So when you get back home you can say "look xB, I got you a souvenir!"
