Default Sirius for Scion

I tried to get an answer today about this...

Please wait for a Scion Customer Advocate to respond. You are number 1 in queue.
You are now chatting with Bob
Bob: Hi Joe
Bob: How may I help you today?
Joe: Hi Bob, how are you?
Bob: doing good yourself ?
Joe: I purchased my 2005 Scion xB and didn't get the XM Satellite radio because I want to get Sirius. Is Sirius compatible with the SAT button on my stock Pioneer Radio?
Bob: At this time it satellite radio is only for XM
Bob: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Joe: I just keep reading about how Sirius is going to become an option with Scion anytime now and was hoping that feature would be available for me too. I just purchased the vehicle 2 weeks ago.
Bob: At this time we do not know when Sirius would be available.
Joe: ok, thanks Bob

Just get a decent CD/MP3 Sirius-ready aftermarket head unit and same brand (or compatible) Sirius tuner. $250-$400 total and will sound better than any Scion HU. Sirius ROCKS!

Why do you want Sirius? XM has 2.5 million subscribers vs. 800,000 for Sirius. I have a friend with Sirius and IMO the programming is *much* better on XM. The only thing Sirius has I would want is Howard Stern and he's not reason enough alone to switch.

Sirius has Bam Radio though!! I don't know, I'll probably get XM just because it's 100% compatible with the stock deck in my xB. Looks good either way.
